During your aura photo session, you’ll sit down in front of a black backdrop, placing your hands on the energy sensor plates that are connected to the camera. The photo takes up to 20 seconds, and you’ll need to keep your hands still on the sensors while your aura is being captured.
The energy-sensing hand plates contain sensors that correspond to different lines of energy, reading biometric data like your heart rate, subtle vibrations, and temperature variations. That information is sent to our specialized camera (the Aura Cam 6000) to generate the image of your aura. Our tech was originally invented in 1970 And is considered the most authentic, original aura capturing camera on the market.
The Aura Cam 6000 works by processing a double exposure image. The first exposure, taken in the first 2 seconds of your imaging, is of you. The second exposure captures the energetic information that the hand sensors are picking up.
Different colors mean different things depending on where they appear in your photo. Your aura portrait includes an interpretation of your aura by one of our expert-trained team members. You’ll also receive an interpretation card to take home, to help you further analyze your aura photo.

Various colors can be present in the Aura, and take on different meanings depending on where they appear. A Soulglow Aura Portrait Session uses a specialized camera to capture an image of your aura. We then offer an interpretation of the colors, their placement, and their meanings for you. The experience is a fun and visual way to see your current energetic state.

FAQ

Yes! Auras are constantly evolving. In general, your aura portrait will contain about one month’s worth of energy. Think of it as a reflection of your current energetic state.
There are three core areas we look at in an aura portrait. The space above your eye level, which generally shows what’s on your mind, how you think, and where your focus lies. The left side of your photo, which represents your feminine, receiving side - showing how you see the world, yourself, and the near future. And the right side of your photo, which represents your masculine, expressive side - showing what you project to the world, how people see you, and the recent past.
Sort of. While you will see colors that represent your near future (on the left side of your photo) and recent past (on the right side of your photo), these colors are correlated with emotions and personal characteristics, rather than specific events or occurrences.
Yes! Your aura portrait captures your chakras from chest level and up (your crown, third eye, throat and heart). We often use aura photography to energy test for chakra blockages. We also offer an energy-reading add-on for all aura photo sessions, to test your other chakras that are not seen in the photo.
